Payton Wang is an independent artist who recently graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His most recent works focused on mixed media on paper and experiments in post-processing digital photography; he is also systematically educated in architecture, where he did several onsite projects in and around Chicago, IL.
“My works initiate with philosophical approaches from literature, just like the old romanticism artist that maneuver materials to explore their interest in the broader field of humanity. My works feature mystical yet minimal motifs on topics in and around Architecture, Photography, and Art: creating from traditional design approaches that lead to creative experimentations that congest the exploration of one’s perspective in manifestations with one’s surrounding environments.” --P.W.
