ZL-001-K "The Ugly Truth"
I like giant robots. Giant robots are cool.
The Ugly Truth is a prototype machine stripped down from a far more dangerous counterpart which uses its pilot as a component for generating deadly psycho-lasers at the cost of draining the life force of the pilot. 001K exists as a counterargument to how its predecessor is essential; it is that machine removed with all of the parts that pose a threat to its pilot but still remain operational regardless, exposing the underlying atrocities the original manufacturer was planning on. As a machine built to undermine its origin, The Ugly Truth got its name from its purpose of existence.
As for why a piece of concept art is in an exhibition about fine art, well... at least you don't have to wonder about its meaning is when it doesn't have one!
