A Bunch of Him (2022)

This was painted as a satire the influencer culture and the herd effect. When influential celebrities dress in a certain way, everyone just blindly follows the so-called "trend". As a result everyone dresses, looks, and acts the same way, but really we are just benefiting brands and marketing firms. I fear that gradually we lose our sense and awareness of self.

About the artist:

Yuchen is a multidisciplinary artist and designer specializing in cross-dimensional and cross-media art, including industrial design, fashion and jewelry design, spatial design, architecture, sculpture, and painting. At the age of 16, they began studying, organizing, and participating in 26 major international art and design events, including China International Fashion Week’s BOX PROJECT and Shanghai International Fashion Week.

这幅画的目的是想讽刺明星效应和羊群效应 ,当人群中一个具有影响力穿着成一个样子时，然后大家盲目追星 模仿那个一个人的穿搭逐渐大家失去自我，每个人都穿的一样,大家都會可以模仿，即使實際上只是品牌警銷。
